GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision, provides instructional support assistance to residential students in reading, math, science and other core subject areas. Duties are categorized and monitored through the recommendations provided by the Academic Advisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education.
- Must be a certified teacher with an emphasis in either Math, English, Sciences, and Social Sciences.
- Must have verifiable teaching experience.
- Must possess effective tutorial skills to help students understand key concepts.
- Must be knowledgeable of academic skills; i.e., study skills, time management skills, and organizational skills to improve academic performance.
- Must possess a functional knowledge of school credit guidelines.
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR
- Valid Arizona driver’s license.
- Must pass criminal background checks by state, federal and Navajo Nation

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Drives GSA vehicles and school buses to transport residential students as directed. Responsible for coordinating the logistic functions throughout the organization by conforming to adopted governing board policies and handbooks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have minimum three (3) years of school bus driving experience.
- Must possess at least 50 CEU’s, or post-secondary credit pertaining to student safety, school bus training, A VALID Arizona driver’s license with a Class “B” CDL with Passenger (P), School Bus (S) and Air Brake (A) endorsements.
- Must have a functional knowledge of the proper and safe operation of motor vehicles including school buses.
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The homeliving residential advisor works under the general supervision of the Residential Manager in an assigned dormitory. The residential advisor performs child care related duties in a dormitory environment which assures the functioning of a well-balanced Residential Program for students. The residential advisor is responsible for planning and organizing various student-centered activities, events and programs. Duties may also include providing assistance over the phone and in person at the front desk.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least 32 post-secondary semester hours (48 quarter hours) in an applicable academic discipline, including fields related to working with children, such as child development, education, behavioral sciences and cultural studies.
- Must meet the academic credit hours according to 25 CFR Part 36.
- Must have good customer service skills and have the desire to mentor and guide students with support, basic stress management techniques and peer advising on stress related issues and concerns.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR

Provides security services student residents from criminal acts by persons. Duties may also include providing on-site assistance to students and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred 32 post-secondary semester credit hours in a applicable academic discipline, including fields related to working with children, such as child development, education, behavioral sciences and cultural studies preferred.
- Must have verifiable three (3) years' experience in security duties.
- Certification of security orientated training preferred.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Must have a functional proficiency in the Navajo language and be familiar with the Navajo culture and people.
- Current Certification in First Aid and CPR.
